For me, the biggest part of making art is looking.

Finding a subject is easy, because everything is interesting in some way if you stare at it long enough. Some subjects grab you from the start, and some become more special when you take time to look a little deeper.

I like to paint all sorts of things. I could tell a story about each one, and why I was drawn to that image...but when it comes down to it, I simply enjoy the act of looking and painting things the way I see them.
